1) Make sure they’re securely mounted: All of the flood lights that we provide and install are securely attached using appropriate bracketrythat is rated for the weight of the light. However, if there have been periods of high winds, or if the light has been impacted in some way, then it is always important to check that all connections remain tight and secure.

2) Clean off dirt & debris: We always recommend cleaning your flood lights to ensure that the light output is as bright as possible. Wind or adverse weather can blow debris onto the lights, so like anything giving them a sufficient wipe down will help them to remain efficient and effective.

3) Check wiring & connectors: As with anything electrical, it’s recommended that the wiring and connections are checked from time to time. This is especially true for those which are closer to the ground, so could have been impacted by external factors. All of our flood lights are built to be durable and last for 100,000 hours, but brief checks like this can ensure that output remains at the highest level.
