Sponsored by ARUP and Kingfisher Lighting, the Bat Conservation Trust and the ILP are hosting an event to discuss the Bats and Artificial Lighting Guidance Note Updates in London.

A launch event will be held at the ARUP, based in London UK, on Tuesday 28th February to launch the latest guidance notes published by Bat Conservation Trust and ILP. At the event, industry professionals will discuss planning, mitigation, lighting design considerations, and contour planning.

The panel of lighting and ecology specialists includes Kingfisher Technical Manager James Miles, who is also a member of the committee contributing towards the guidance updates. James will discuss both lighting design best practices in addition to the wider impact of artificial lighting on wildlife.

The event will take place from 9.45am - 4.45pm and will be followed by a networking drinks reception until 6.30pm at the ARUP offices in Bloomsbury.
