Design Philosophy

When developing the NAVAR series, we had a specific set of goals that defined the overall design. Quality, circular economy and customer focus is our priority and the NAVAR Series is a testament to that.

Circular Economy

With circular economy and environmental responsibility so close to our heart, it was vital to develop a luminaire that has a minimal negative impact on the world around us, from concept to end of life.

Aesthetic

With a sleek modular design, the concepts were developed with no visible fixings and a wealth of options in order to offer the perfect fit for a wide range of applications including large area carparks, slick urban cityscapes and catenary schemes.

Installation

As we know, installation can often be a factor overlooked with high-end fixtures. The NAVAR was designed to minimise installation time with simple plug and play connections, interchangeable bracketry between variants and simple, secure fixings.

The Luminaire

The series offers a wide array of options meaning it can be tailored to suit any aesthetic or function.  With three body types, three optic packages, colour temperature options, a range of interchangeable brackets and the opportunity for bespoke bracketry, the possibilities are endless.

Body Types

NAVAR Urban

As the smallest in the range, this circular luminaire measures in at just over 600mm in diameter and packs a real punch, no matter the optic package chosen. With the most bracketry options available out of the series, the NAVAR Urban is the perfect fit for catenary and cityscapes.

NAVAR Pro

The large ‘halo’ luminaire is arguably the most aesthetic variant in the range and when paired with the cantilever bracket,            creates an unparalleled visual presentation. Also complimented by alternative bracketry and optical systems, this variant offers visually stunning results that can be tailored to create the perfect scheme. 

NAVAR Urban Pro

Combining the NAVAR Urban and Pro creates the powerhouse variant known as the NAVAR Urban Pro. Again, with a range of bracketry options and lumen packages, this large-scale luminaire is capable of achieving an output of over 56,000 lm with spacings up to 48m.

Optics

Square Distribution Optic 70°

Designed by our in-house experts, the Square Optic offers a wide, open-area distribution that maximises spacings between columns. This reduces the number of columns and fittings needed, therefore reducing material, equipment needed on site, as well as overall running costs.  

Street Optic 70°

Perfect for roadways, pathways and narrow spaces, the street optic has an excellent projection which can, when combined with forward throw create excellent uniformity for any site.

Forward Throw Optic 70°

Ideal for perimeter lighting and sidings the forward throw optic is the perfect asymmetric option that cuts down on back spill, making it perfect for boundary positioning.

Forward Throw Optic c/w Back Spill Shield 70°

Made with light intrusion in mind, this optic is perfect for environments needing little to no back spill such as residential and wildlife areas. The integrated optical spill shield provides a sharp cut-off without wasted illumination, offering further savings through the efficient use of light.

Bracketry

As previously mentioned, the NAVAR series has been developed with a full range of standard bracketry designed to offer varied mounting options and aesthetics. 

Central Post Top – for the NAVAR Urban and Urban Pro

As the name suggests, this is a sleek bracket that connects the luminaire centrally to the columns with precision. This option allows the light to be evenly distributed where it is needed without interference or shadowing from the column or bracket itself. Perfect for wide area applications. 

Post Top Side Entry – for the NAVAR Urban, Pro and Urban Pro

A choice most commonly used in street and perimeter lighting, the post top side entry allows the luminaire to directly illuminate the area needed.

Cantilever Bracket – for the NAVAR Urban, Pro and Urban

 Suited to a modern urban environment, the cantilever is a unique shape and creates a high profile aesthetic for any site. Combined with the effortless aesthetic of the NAVAR this bracketry option will ensure your site has a modern and sophisticated appeal.

Catenary Bracket – for the NAVAR Urban

With a rise of smart cities and a focus on clean spaces and minimalism, catenary was a must have for the series. With cable running in between properties and the luminaires positioned centrally to path and roadways, this mounting method is a perfect way for sleek, tight spaces and reducing column usage.
