Planning

Arguably, the planning stage of any project is the most important, no matter the size. If the initial plans do not cover the relevant topics such as funding, planning permissions, viability of an installation, to name but a few, things will inevitably go wrong somewhere down the line.

Our Team of experts have all the knowledge needed to guide you through such considerations and it all starts with a site visit and looking over the plans. The Team will discuss everything from overall desired aesthetics to industry guidance notes, planning constraints to powers supplies… even budgetary considerations. The better understanding we have of the specification, the better advice we can offer!

Product Selection & Lighting Design

With some end users heavily focused on the visual impact of the project, they can misunderstand, or even overlooked considerations such as lighting levels, sky glow, local residential areas or wildlife.

Kingfisher have a large team of highly qualified Lighting Designers with many years of experience. They live and breath guidance notes, ROI calculations and lighting levels and have a keen eye for the details.

The Lighting Designer and Project Engineer work closely with our clients to offer the perfect product to compliment, not only the site's aesthetics but that truly achieve the desired results. We will produce a scheme design meeting all the relevant requirements and even create a 3D visualisation of the end result to present to the end user.

Once you’re satisfied with your design, we’ll provide you with a quotation and prepare your project for the ordering stage.

Project Management

As with most projects, requirement changes and new considerations can pop-up down the line. With a dedicated Project Manager, our clients have peace of mind that they are in good hands. Our Team will work closely to quickly revise the designs and product offerings, as well as ensuring any other potential issues are accounted for.

Delivery

When it comes to getting your products to site, we have a number of options; if you are local and have your own fleet, you come to our Midlands based facility and collect your order. However, the most popular option is for us to deliver the goods directly to site using our own fleet of vehicles. All fitted with specialist equipment and our drivers fully versed in offloading goods on site with precision. Our expert Transport Team will work closely to coordinate the best times and locations to get the goods to site, taking into consideration and special requirements.
