Based at Kingfisher HQ, the development team sought to create a premium solution to suit the ethos of circularity, moving away from the typical ‘throw-away’ models, while still retaining the ability to evolve and develop as customer needs change.

CIRECO features zhaga book 18 receptacles enabling plug and play sensors and controls compatibility making the fitting smart ready as standard.

Circular Economy

In the past, manufacturers have produced fixtures to a linear model, however a renewed focus on circular economy promotes the use of materials that can later be recycled or reused as an alternative to unsustainable disposal.

By adopting the principles of ‘reduce, reuse, recycle’, all components making up the CIRECO are suitable to do just that, actively minimise the amount of waste produced throughout the life of the fitting. Furthermore, CIRECO packaging is 100% recyclable eliminating single use plastics.

A QR code is affixed inside each fitting pointing to information on installation, components, maintenance, disassembly and repair options. This makes the process as easy as possible and to minimise the time it takes on site.

Quality

With an unparalleled dedication to quality, premium components were selected to promote a durable and sustainable design. We utilised the Tridonic D4i DALI 2 driver which allows greater compatibility and reporting for controls systems, providing more data for building management systems.

CIRECO has a marine finish as standard to ensure a durability in all conditions. This will allow the best protection for the luminaire throughout its 100,000-hr lifetime. 

Comfort

Designed for comfort, CIRECO creates a low glare illumination with 0% ULOR to reduce light pollution and obtrusive light. Through utilising diffused glass, the luminaire produces a soft light output ensuring optimal visual comfort. The luminaire also features low colour temperature options to benefit both humans and animals alike.
