Ebony Shuttleworth, Head of Distribution Sales is an invaluable member of the Kingfisher family. With many years’ service under her belt, Ebony heads up the Distribution Sales Team, ensuring we are providing the best possible service to customers.

What is your job title? Head of Distribution Sales

How long have you worked at Kingfisher Lighting? 14 years

Have you ever had a different role within Kingfisher Lighting?

I’ve always worked in this team and have worked my way up to where I am now.  During my time I’ve covered various regions. In my first few years, most of my time was spent managing East Anglia, a fantastic region with so many lovely customers.

After managing different areas, the team continued to grow, and I became a Team Leader. At this point, we now have 17 people in the team, and I love reflecting on how far we have come in the 14 years I’ve been with Kingfisher.

What does your Job Role entail?

As well as managing the Team in terms of sales strategy, budget and regional targets, I manage many of our national accounts. I meet with high profile wholesale groups to discuss how Kingfisher can better serve the groups, as well as stock management, rebate agreements and national strategies.

What’s your favourite thing about being part of the Kingfisher Family?

The people at Kingfisher make it a very enjoyable place to work. We spend more time in the office than anywhere else, so it really makes a big difference. That’s why we call it the Kingfisher Family!

What is your greatest professional achievement to date at Kingfisher?

I believe it would be the work I have done with the EDA, alongside Natalie Grisman to help get the Kingfisher name out there with their members. I’d like to give a big shout out to my team for all the hard work they’ve put into the EDA training.  

What are the values that drive you?

Loyalty, honesty, and determination, values that are the heart of what we do here at Kingfisher.  

Give us a fun fact about yourself?

I enjoy playing netball, I play every Thursday and I’ve recently started golf lessons. If anyone has any golf events next year, please think of me!

What’s the most interesting thing you can see out your window?

Columns… Lots of columns! Our yard is full to bursting of column stocks ready to be delivered by the Kingfisher Fleet.
