Founded in 1885, Marshall Milton Keynes Athletics Club has provided various sports facilities over the years with members competing at various levels.
The club’s existing system consisted of 30-year-old halogen flood lights which provided high maintenance and running costs. After funding from the National Hockey Foundation as well as money from the MMK Reserves, they decided it was time for an upgrade to an all-new LED system.
We selected the AMNIS Series to illuminate the athletics club due to its advanced reflector technology. Placed upon bespoke bracketry, the floods reduced energy costs, minimised waste light and promoted a comfortable distribution for all on site.
For extra versatility, Kingfisher Controls were also installed across the site via a wireless switch system. With many athletes visiting site at varying times, it was important that the system was easy-to-use for all.
