DarkSky Approved

DarkSky (formerly known as the International Dark Sky Association) are an internationally recognised organisation dedicated to reducing the impact of excessive use of artificial light on the night sky. They recommend reputable manufacturers who can meet their set criteria to have the ‘DarkSky Approval’. The criteria includes low colour temperature options, reduced back spill, flat to ground illumination, and 0% ULOR.

 

In order to meet the requirements, we ensure the amount of blue light within a scheme is reduced and light is focused on the task area reducing disturbances for both human and wildlife alike.
