DarkSky Approved

The DarkSky are an internationally recognised organisation dedicated to reducing the impact of excessive use of artificial light on the night sky. They recommend reputable manufacturers who can meet their set criteria in order to be DarkSky Approved. The criteria includes low colour temperature options, reduced back spill, flat to ground illumination, and 0% ULOR.

In order to meet the requirements, we ensure the amount of blue light within a scheme is reduced and light is focused on the task area reducing disturbances for both human and wildlife alike.

Our DarkSky luminaires are all designed and engineered in the UK and use innovative technology to increase efficiency, reduce glare and of cause, light pollution. We have a range of approved flood, street, and wall mounted fixtures to ensure visual comfort as well as compliance for dark sky areas.
