Patrick Daly Named Finalist for SAPCA Person of the Year 2026

Kingfisher Lighting is proud to announce that Patrick Daly of Kingfisher Sport, the dedicated sports lighting brand of Kingfisher Lighting, has been named a finalist for SAPCA Person of the Year at the Sports and Play Construction Association (SAPCA) Annual Conference and Awards Dinner 2026.

Kingfisher Sport specialises in the design, supply and installation of high-performance LED sports lighting solutions for pitches, training facilities and stadium environments across the UK.

SAPCA is the UK’s leading trade association for the sports and play construction industry, supporting the design, construction and maintenance of high-quality sports facilities nationwide.

The event will take place for the first time in London at the “Home of Rugby”, Allianz Stadium, Twickenham. The one-day conference will feature a packed educational programme, followed by the highly anticipated awards ceremony in the evening.

The nomination recognises Patrick’s contribution to the development of compliant sports lighting installations delivered in collaboration with contractors, consultants and facility operators.

The 2026 awards include 12 finalists across a wide range of projects, products and individuals, celebrating the innovation, expertise and high standards demonstrated by SAPCA members.
