What is Net Zero Week and Why is it Important?

The climate crisis is one of the biggest challenges facing humanity today, and coupled with the current cost of living crisis, we believe that it is imperative that everyone - especially businesses - take all the action possible to become more efficient, reduce their energy consumption, and put the environment at the forefront of their thinking. We firmly believe that a circular economy is key to achieving sustainable development goals. As part of our corporate responsibility, we have been working diligently to make products and services more sustainable, while embracing circular economy principles.

By adopting a circular economy model, we aim to minimise waste, maximise resource efficiency, and reduce our reliance on non-renewable resources. This approach involves designing products for durability, repairability, and recycling, as well as promoting responsible consumption and production throughout our supply chain.

Two of our most important ranges for achieving this sustainability are CIRECO and NAVAR.

CIRECO - The Dedicated Circular Economy Luminaire

Inspired by a passion for environmental protection, and with circular economy values in mind, CIRECO sits at the forefront of contemporary lighting technology.

In the past, manufacturers have produced fixtures to a linear model, however a renewed focus on circular economy promotes the use of materials that can later be recycled or reused as an alternative to unsustainable disposal.

In way of promoting the principles of ‘reduce, reuse, recycle’, all components making up CIRECO are suitable to do just that, actively minimise the amount of waste produced throughout the life of the fitting. Furthermore, CIRECO packaging is 100% recyclable, eliminating single use plastics.

CIRECO has a circular economy score of over 2.5, placing it firmly within the “Excellent Circularity” category.

NAVAR: Navigating Towards Carbon Neutrality

Another significant step that we are taking towards achieving our sustainability goals is through the NAVAR series. The perfect balance of form and function, the NAVAR series offers outstanding performance and efficiency.

Available in Urban, Pro, and Urban Pro models, when developing the NAVAR series, we had a specific set of goals that defined the overall design. Quality, circular economy and customer focus is our priority and the NAVAR Series is a testament to that.
