Supporting ESTEEM

We’re supporting ESTEEM over the next few weeks and need your help!

Esteem

First things first, what is ESTEEM?

The Sussex based charity works with young adults between the ages of 14 and 26 providing social, wellbeing, volunteering and mentoring opportunities.

Their mission is to create space for young people to thrive through social activities, work experience, well being and mentoring opportunities. They aspire to create a world where young adults are trusted, supported and respected as an active and powerful member of communities.

Saving The Old School House

After local authorities advised the charity of their intention to sell the building they have been based in for over 8 years (The Old School House), ESTEEM have been raising money to try and save the building so they can continue running services as usual. The site sees over 200 young adults pass through every year so, there’s a huge push to secure the money and acquire the building.

Tea and Cake Event

Today, ESTEEM is hosting a tea and cake event to allow many to see the charity’s work first hand and meet some of the young adults and dedicated staff. It will also be a chance to celebrate the history of the charity and all the work they have done.
